Job Description

Job Role:

Safety Manager Location:

Abernathy, TX Owns the environment, health & safety (HSE) program for Supplier Personnel on site, ensuring compliance with applicable safety rules and health-and-safety laws (including OSHA-equivalent requirements and

NFPA 70E

where applicable). Anchors the safety function and directs Floating HSE Coordinators to maintain 24/7 safety coverage.

Key responsibilities:

Own and administer the site HSE program: safety plans, JHAs, permits, PPE compliance, and toolbox talks
Ensure continuous safety coverage across all staffed shifts via Floating HSE Coordinators
Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; drive corrective actions to closure
Lead incident response, investigation, and root-cause/corrective-action reporting; track TRIR
Coordinate with Fluidstack site leadership and interface with regulatory requirements
Deliver safety onboarding and ongoing training for

Supplier Personnel Requirements:

Established HSE/safety management experience in data center, construction, or industrial environments
Relevant safety credentials (e.g., OSHA 30, CHST, or equivalent) strongly preferred
Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO, and electrical/mechanical hazards

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
