Cimarron Midstream provides oil, natural gas, and helium midstream services to producers across North America. We focus on operating, acquiring, and consolidating legacy natural gas midstream assets in conventional basins with high helium concentrations. As a team, we roll up our sleeves and create value through operational efficiency, process optimization, commercial creativity, and financial discipline. We currently operate three core gathering & processing systems across the Texas Panhandle (Rock Creek), central Kansas (Peak-Otis & West Wichita), and Chaves County, New Mexico (Roswell). Job Summary The HSSE Manager is a key member of the asset leadership teams, based in Borger, TX, but also supporting Larned, KS . This role must be local to Borger/Amarillo- please only apply if you are local or are willing to relocate This role provides strategic safety guidance to Operations leadership and ensures consistent implementation of HSSE policies and procedures for both employees and contractors. The Safety Specialist will lead safety training initiatives, assess operational and project risks, support incident investigations, and analyze HSSE data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Qualifications 7+ years of direct experience in Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) roles within the oil & gas industry , including 1 year in HSSE management preferred. Broad knowledge of HSSE regulations, procedures, and best practices applicable to Midstream and/or Exploration & Production operations. Expert knowledge in most local, state, and federal regulations, advise management on impact of proposed regulation changes and develop compliance strategies across all asset areas. Strong understanding of Process Safety Management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple levels and functions. Ability to challenge constructively while maintaining trust and respect. Demonstrated leadership capability with multi-disciplinary teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Responsibilities Provide HSSE support for Operations in Borger, TX and Larned, KS Continuously evaluate HSSE programs and procedures to ensure effective implementation and compliance. Review and support incident investigations, including Cause Mapping, and ensure corrective actions are completed. Provide QA/QC oversight for field-generated incident investigations. Manage and guide the use of HSSE-related IT systems. Develop and coordinate HSSE training for management, field employees, and contractors. Assist in creating HSSE interventions based on leading indicators. Develop cost estimates and planning for HSSE-related G&A, OPEX, and Capital budget items. Partner with Operations and Engineering to support process safety activities, including PSSRs, MOCs, and PHAs. Participate in risk assessments for high‑risk tasks. Provide HSSE input during project planning and execution. Conduct regular field reviews to ensure compliance with HSSE programs and plans. Serve on the Cimarron Midstream Incident Management Team for Emergency Response as required. Demonstrate and promote

Education Bachelor's degree in occupational safety & health, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred High school diploma or equivalent required . Pay:
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
