Position Purpose:
The Safety Manager will be responsible for leading and enforcing Coreslabs safety culture across all erection and plant operations while supporting safe and productive field execution.
The position will require strong field presence and be willing to learn the operational knowledge, training capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively.
The responsibilities outlined below are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the role and business operations.
The Safety Manager will participate in pre-construction and planning meetings with general contractors and project teams to gather project-specific safety requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing project-specific safety requirementsAssisting with startup documentation and compliance requirementsBecoming familiar with GC safety platforms/websitesCoordinating required site-specific documentationReviewing logistics, crane access, delivery routes, and erection sequencing from a safety perspectiveAssisting operations with project startup planningIncident Reporting & InvestigationsThe Safety Manager will respond quickly to incidents and lead investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions. The Safety Manager will be the primary party responsible for field related incidents and will provide guidance, support and oversight of the plant Safety Coordinator for plant related incidents.
