Project Scope:

We have an immediate need for a traveling SSHO for a duct bank project in Manassas, VA The SSHO will monitor site activities, conduct inspections, support hazard analysis, and ensure safe work practices throughout the project. Responsibilities Manage and monitor daily site safety and health activities. Conduct regular job-site and equipment, Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions. Create, review, and maintain Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs). Ensure compliance with applicable project safety requirements. Conduct and document safety inspections and observations. Support safety training, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety awareness. Maintain required safety documentation, certifications, and inspection records. Promote a strong safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and project personnel. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of continuous safety experience . OSHA 30-Hour certification/card.

EM 385-1-1

40-Hour certification. 24-Hour Fall Protection certification. Active First Aid/CPR certification , completed within the last 2 years. Minimum 24 hours of continuing safety education within the last 3 years , with certification documentation. Demonstrated experience conducting equipment, PPE, and job-site inspections . Experience creating and reviewing Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) .
