Summary/Objective The Quality & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), and ISO management systems. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards while promoting a strong safety culture. Additionally, this role ensures that the EHS and ISO-related activities are aligned with the corporate management system, global standards, and applicable requirements defined by Headquarters. Develop and maintain workplace safety programs
Serve as emergency contact for facility (Fire, EMS, Severe Weather Announcements)
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
Conduct safety audits and inspections
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Manage ISO certifications in alignment with global management system requirements and corporate standards
Maintain and develop policies and procedures consistent with HQ guidelines and corporate management system documentation
Lead internal and external audits
Monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement
Act as the local interface for ISO and management system-related topics between the US organization, HQ, and Corporate Quality Management
Deliver safety training programs and participate in new hire orientation
Promote safety culture and engagement
Identify and mitigate workplace hazards
Conduct roost cause analysis
Track safety metrics and drive improvements
Ensure environmental compliance
Manage hazardous materials handling
Support sustainability initiatives
Maintain compliance records & prepare reports for leadership
Provide regular reporting on ISO, audit, compliance, and management system topics to local Management and Corporate Quality Management Competencies

Work Environment This job operates within an office and machine shop environments. Physical Demands Frequent sitting while working at a computer. Regular walking throughout office and manufacturing areas. Ability to stand for extended periods while performing facility inspections, audits, training sessions, and safety assessments. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs, and crouching to inspect equipment, workstations, and work processes. Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Ability to wear required PPE. Visual ability to review detailed documents, equipment conditions, safety signage, and compliance records. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, salaried position. The "core" hours of work are between 8:00am and 3:45pm Monday through Friday. It is up to the employee to determine their start time and end time including these core hours and ensure that their supervisor is made aware of their choice of working hours. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred (Occupational Safety & Health, Environment Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management/Quality Assurance)
3-7 years of experience in manufacturing safety or ISO
Knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
