ABOUT THE ROLE
When someone's home has just caught fire, they don't need a pushy salesperson. They need someone they can trust. We're looking for a confident, empathetic Emergency Response Coordinator to respond to emergency property losses, meet homeowners at the scene, explain their options, and earn the opportunity to help restore their property . This is a field-based sales role with an established and growing disaster restoration company. You'll work directly with homeowners, business owners, fire departments, and restoration professionals to help move properties from emergency to recovery.•
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right person knows that selling in an emergency requires empathy first and sales ability second. Existing relationships with fire departments or fire service personnel are a significant plus. Strong sales candidates from outside the restoration industry may also be considered. Confident and professional without being aggressive. Comfortable asking for the business. An excellent listener and communicator. Competitive, self-motivated, and accountable for results. Comfortable working independently in the field. Able to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure. Skilled at building genuine relationships with customers and referral partners. Comfortable working an unpredictable emergency-response schedule. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Respond to fire, water, mold, storm, and catastrophic property losses. Meet customers at emergency loss sites. Assess the situation and explain mitigation, restoration, and insurance processes. Build trust quickly with people who may be overwhelmed or under significant stress. Secure signed work authorizations and contracts. Communicate important information to adjusters, Project Managers, and internal teams. Develop relationships with fire departments and other referral partners. Transition new projects effectively to the restoration team.•
THE REALITY OF THE JOB
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 sales position . Fires and property emergencies don't happen on a schedule. You may respond at night, on weekends, or holidays. INDL Pay:
