Medical, Dental, AD&D Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor work areas to identify potential safety hazards and unsafe conditionsConduct routine safety inspections throughout production, warehouse, and work areasHelp ensure employees follow company safety policies and proceduresAssist with new-hire safety orientations and trainingCommunicate safety rules, procedures, and expectations to employeesProvide reminders and coaching when unsafe practices are observedReport safety hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses to managementAssist with accident and incident documentationHelp maintain safety records, reports, and inspection logsEnsure required personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used correctlyMonitor proper use of equipment, machinery, and material-handling equipmentAssist supervisors and management with safety-related concernsHelp maintain clean, organized, and safe work areasParticipate in safety meetings and safety training activitiesSupport emergency procedures and workplace safety programsPerform other safety and general labor duties as assigned QualificationsPrevious safety, warehouse, manufacturing, production, food processing, or general labor experience is preferredPrevious safety representative or safety coordinator experience is a plusOSHA or other safety training/certification is preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of workplace safety practicesAbility to identify and report potential safety hazardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to confidently communicate safety rules and expectations to employeesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to complete safety reports and documentation accuratelyAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skills preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work overtime and weekends as requiredAbility to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions Why Work With Full Steam Staffing?
