Full-Time, Field-Based Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Safety Coordinator / Construction Safety Professional to support active job sites throughout San Diego County. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-minded professional with strong communication skills who is looking to grow their career in commercial construction safety while working closely with project teams, clients, and field personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, the ability to build relationships with project stakeholders, and a passion for creating and maintaining safe job site environments. Experience supporting life sciences, healthcare, laboratory, or hospital construction projects is highly desirable but not required. Key Responsibilities Administer company, client, and OSHA health and safety programs, procedures, and protocols Serve as a key safety resource and liaison between project teams, field personnel, and client stakeholders Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and observations to ensure compliance with safety standards Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors Monitor job site activities and verify consistent adherence to safety policies and procedures Assist with incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and safety reporting Analyze safety data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement Review site operations and recommend safety enhancements and preventive measures Maintain compliance with federal, state, client, and company safety requirements Support a positive safety culture through coaching, communication, and employee engagement Qualifications 1-5 years of construction safety experience within commercial building construction environments Commercial construction experience required; experience in life sciences, healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or hospital construction is a plus Combination of commercial and residential construction experience considered, provided commercial construction represents the majority of overall experience Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact professionally with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel Leadership potential with the ability to influence and guide safe work practices Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard construction technology platforms Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout San Diego County Preferred Certifications OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 required CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification strongly preferred Other BCSP or NASP certifications are highly valued Certified OSHA Outreach Trainer preferred Candidates without advanced certifications must be willing to pursue additional safety credentials

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
