Job Responsibilities Recruitment and training for Motor Drivers. Process of new hire applications, this include backgrounds, MVR, previous employer, etc. Works with the driver on all safety issues, including logs and safety related matters. Monitor driver logs; works closely with drivers having problems with hours of service to promote compliance. Compliance management of FMCSA, DOT, State, Local and Company Safety Policies. Ensure company compliance with DOT Drug and Alcohol program and regulations. Oversee safety incident reports and conduct any necessary investigation. Provide claims support as needed. Filing and maintain all required documents as required under Department of Transportation guidelines, i.e. driver's license status, medical examination cards, certificate of violations, etc. Other duties as requested Qualifications Safety and Compliance experience in the Transportation Industry Knowledge of Excel and Word Excellent written and oral communication Strong attention to detail Able to work independently Highly organized
