The Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Systems Coordinator is a key contributor to maintaining and strengthening Lundberg Family Farms' quality and compliance programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with foundational experience in quality systems or data management who is eager to grow their expertise. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and certification bodies, the Coordinator ensures accurate documentation, supports critical systems, and helps drive continuous improvement across food safety and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate supplier approval and document collection programs, and manage supplier data through platforms such as TraceGains. Manage customer quality communications, including responding to inquiries and maintaining customer-facing quality portals. Coordinate and submit documentation for product certifications (e.g., Organic, Kosher, Gluten-Free) and ensure all company licenses and registrations remain current. Serve as system administrator for QMS and PLM platforms, optimizing workflows, maintaining data integrity, and training internal users. Oversee specification management for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including creation, review, approval, and revision control. Maintain document control systems, ensuring SOPs, work instructions, and policies are current, organized, and audit-ready. Bachelor's or Associate degree in Food Science, Business/Information Systems, Quality Management, or related field preferred. 2-3 years of experience in Quality Systems, Product Lifecycle Data Management, or Document Control within a food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SharePoint site setup experience preferred. Familiarity with document control practices, revision control, and specification authoring in a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting or learning PLM and electronic QMS systems; super-user or administrator experience preferred but not required. Basic familiarity with third-party certification portals (e.g., USDA Organic, Kosher, GFCO) and regulatory registration requirements. Ability to write, edit, and organize SOPs, Work Instructions, and product specifications. Strong attention to detail, with excellent organization and the ability to audit data for accuracy and completeness.
