In this vital role, you will champion safety initiatives across multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Your expertise will help foster a culture of safety, minimize risks, and promote occupational health for all team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead safety management efforts in a dynamic construction environment, ensuring that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry best practices. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to commercial electrical construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), NEC (National Electrical Code), ANSI (American National Standards Institute), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and other relevant safety standards. Lead safety training sessions for employees, including OSHA compliance, electrical safety procedures, first aid and CPR certification, and construction workplace safety regulations. Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to occupational health, workers' compensation claims, and overall site safety performance. Ensure compliance with construction regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate documentation, incident reports, and safety logs. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and project planning. Lead investigations of incidents or near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions promptly. Stay current on evolving industry standards such as
ANSI, NFPA, OSHA
regulations, and construction safety management best practices. Skills Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations, OSHA standards, NEC codes, NFPA standards, and ANSI standards. Strong risk management skills with the ability to assess hazards proactively and develop effective mitigation plans. Occupational health expertise with experience in workplace injury prevention and workers' compensation processes. Proven leadership in team management and safety training implementation within a construction environment. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite for recordkeeping and reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Ability to conduct thorough site inspections, enforce compliance measures, and foster a culture of safety excellence across multiple projects.
