Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Safety Lead to provide safety support across multiple Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities in Kansas and Idaho. This is a hands-on field safety role working closely with operations, maintenance personnel, contractors, and site leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial safety experience, be comfortable working independently across multiple operating sites, and be available to travel as needed. Business travel expenses associated with the position will be covered. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day safety leadership and support across assigned RNG facilities Conduct safety observations, inspections, audits, and jobsite walkthroughs Participate in JSAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings Monitor compliance with site procedures and applicable OSHA requirements Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions Identify hazards and work with site leadership to implement appropriate controls Provide safety coaching and guidance to employees and contractors Maintain required safety documentation, reports, and records Work closely with operations and maintenance leadership to support consistent safety practices across multiple sites Qualifications Previous experience in a Safety Lead, Safety Coordinator, HSE, EHS, or similar industrial safety role Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices Experience supporting operations, maintenance, construction, commissioning, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments Strong field presence and ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and site leadership Experience with safety inspections, JSAs, incident investigations, and contractor safety Ability to work independently and manage safety responsibilities across multiple locations Ability and willingness to travel between assigned sites in Kansas and Idaho RNG, biogas, power generation, oil & gas, chemical, or process facility experience is preferred Preferred Certifications OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR CHST, CSP, ASP, or similar safety certification is a plus
Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
