FSQA Coordinator Location:

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience; relocation support available) A established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced FSQA Coordinator for its Sebewaing, Michigan operation. This is a hands-on, floor-based role (not lab-based) responsible for food safety and quality assurance across multiple sites. Role Summary The FSQA Coordinator will focus on daily plant operations, compliance, training, documentation, and issue resolution. The role reports to the FSQA Implementation Manager and works closely with the FSQA Compliance Manager as part of a three-person coordinator team. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily floor walks to identify food safety and quality risks. Lead corrective actions, monthly zone-based self-inspections, and audit preparation/execution. Provide training on GMPs, food safety procedures, handwashing, and documentation practices across all shifts. Maintain policies, procedures, forms, and training records. Support cross-functional investigations into incidents such as foreign material, chemical, or process issues. Contribute to continuous improvement projects and FSQA system enhancements. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2+ years of prior FSQA / Food Safety experience (required). Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and limited structure. Self-motivated with strong initiative and follow-through. Effective cross-functional communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. Willingness to travel between sites 1-2 times per month.
