What You'll Do as a
EHS Coordinator:
Support facility-wide compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulationsDevelop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs for employees across all shifts
• Maintain EHS records, documentation, and training files in accordance with company and regulatory requirementsManage hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, labeling, storage, tracking, and shipping activitiesConduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments while ensuring corrective actions are completedInvestigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near-misses and assist with implementing preventive measuresLead and support safety committees, ergonomic initiatives, and continuous improvement programs throughout the facilityServe as a resource for environmental compliance, chemical safety, and EHS best practices What You Need to Bring to the
EHS Coordinator Role:
1-2 years of experience in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator or related roleKnowledge of environmental compliance, workplace safety programs, and regulatory requirementsAbility to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS), safety procedures, and technical documentsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with employees, leadership, vendors, and outside agenciesProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment #metrocareers Ready to Apply?
