Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Service Construction About the Opportunity A well-established and growing specialty contractor is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support field and office operations across multiple construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or advance their career in construction safety while working alongside experienced safety professionals in a collaborative environment. The Safety Coordinator will play a key role in supporting company-wide safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting jobsite inspections, assisting with training programs, and helping maintain a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Support and help enforce company safety programs and site-specific safety plans. Provide safety coaching, guidance, and support to field and office personnel. Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits. Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations. Support new hire orientations and ongoing safety training initiatives. Stay current on OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations. Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures. Support workers' compensation and insurance claim processes. Partner with project teams to promote a proactive safety culture. Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and compliance records. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Construction safety experience is preferred but not required. CHST certification is a plus. OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain shortly after hire. Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build relationships with field personnel. What We're Looking For Passion for workplace safety and continuous improvement.
