Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) Evaluator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, post-acute, and sub-acute care environments. Your expertise will help determine functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and support patients' journey toward optimal independence. Responsibilities Perform detailed occupational therapy evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics, to assess physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret clinical findings and inform treatment strategies Document assessment results clearly and accurately using medical terminology and technical proficiency Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored intervention plans aligned with patient goals and healthcare standards Conduct manual handling assessments and provide guidance on weight handling techniques in workplace or clinical settings Ensure compliance with occupational health protocols and safety standards during evaluations and interventions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) procedures and emergency response protocols to ensure patient safety at all times Requirements Proven occupational therapy experience in academia or clinical practice, with a strong background in inpatient, outpatient, post-acute, or sub-acute care settings Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles Hands-on experience with manual handling techniques and weight handling in workplace environments Certification in CPR or equivalent emergency response training required Demonstrated expertise working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals requiring specialized care such as outpatient clinics or inpatient units Strong technical proficiency with assessment tools, documentation software, and clinical equipment Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Join us as an OT Evaluator to leverage your skills in a vibrant environment committed to excellence in patient-centered care.
