Job Description

EHS & Quality Systems Coordinator $2,000 Sign-On Bonus! Job Purpose Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with OSHA, federal, and state requirements. Promote EHS awareness throughout the organization while supporting a safe and compliant work environment. Responsible for supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) through internal audits, quality documentation, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with monitoring quality metrics and reporting findings to management. 75% EHS Duties-25% Quality Systems Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support and coordinate Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable federal and state requirements. Conduct facility safety inspections, daily walk-throughs, monitor PPE compliance, support safety training, coordinate evacuation drills, and assist with incident investigations. Maintain EHS documentation including SDS records, safety cabinet inventories, monthly reports, meeting records, training schedules, and regulatory documentation. Monitor environmental compliance activities including air/water sampling and required reporting. Support the Quality Management System (QMS) through inspections, internal audits, quality documentation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain quality records including calibration logs, CARs/PARs, customer complaints, RMAs, MIFs, and related documentation. Review customer test reports and complete required regulatory submissions, including TDLR and 1CB reports. Track corrective actions to completion and support efforts to prevent recurring quality issues. Review, revise, and recommend improvements to EHS and quality processes and procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting company goals and team success. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications Education Associate degree in business, safety, quality, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered. Experience 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to Quality and/or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs preferred. Experience with audits, corrective actions, documentation, safety programs, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Specialized Knowledge Knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 quality systems preferred. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Abilities Independent, self-motivated with drive and initiative. Demonstrated time management skills. Ability to support training, promote safety awareness, and encourage continuous improvement. Ability to interpret and follow written, verbal, and documented instructions. Working Conditions Temperature-controlled office with moderate noise level. Exposure to manufacturing areas with dust, noise, moving machinery, and humidity. Physical Requirements Office position. Spends majority of the work shift sitting. Generally, requires clear vision at 20 inches or less for reading. May include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. with no assistance.
