Job Description

Environmental Health and Safety Field Support 5:00am to 5:00pm
Basic Qualifications Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Training in health and safety is also required.
Skills:
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient mechanical skills; proficient computer skills, including internet use; information technology skills related to the sales and service of hydraulic parts; demonstrated supervisory skills; visual and auditory abilities; and the ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. A valid driver's license is required for this position. CDL preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related position is normally required. General Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of company operations, coordinating work within the department and with other departments, reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, and responding to inquiries or requests for information in a timely and professional manner. Essential Duties 1. Performs a variety of duties in support of company safety and compliance programs, including the following: a. Investigates accidents and incidents by traveling to the location, supporting remediation efforts, determining contributing causes, taking photographs, documenting all relevant details, completing required reports, and meeting with rig personnel as needed. b. Performs on-site safety inspections by conducting random field inspections. c. Attends mandatory safety meetings and communicates relevant information to management and employees. d. Issues safety equipment to employees. e. Provides weekly safety topics to employees. f. Reviews Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for proper completion. 2. Coordinates assigned tasks with personnel within the department and with other departments to support the smooth and efficient flow of information. 3. Complies with current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed to promote a workplace free from harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior. 4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices related to risk management, safety and soundness, and regulatory compliance. 5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to established schedules; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel. 6. Responds to inquiries related to the position's area of responsibility, including requests from customers and other personnel, within established time frames and in accordance with company policy.
Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
