Trucking is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to help lead our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in protecting our drivers, employees, equipment, and the communities we serve by ensuring compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and other applicable regulations . Working closely with Operations, Human Resources, and our drivers, you'll help strengthen our safety culture through training, coaching, compliance oversight, incident investigations, and continuous process improvement. What You'll Do Develop, implement, and continuously improve company safety policies, programs, and procedures. Ensure compliance with

FMCSA, DOT, OSHA

, and other applicable transportation regulations. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze CSA scores, safety performance metrics, and compliance trends , providing reports and recommendations to leadership. Investigate accidents, incidents, and safety concerns, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions. Manage driver qualification and compliance processes, including MVRs, PSPs, DAC reports, Clearinghouse queries , and other required documentation. Maintain vehicle registrations, permits, IFTA, UCR, HUT, annual inspections, and other regulatory filings. Coordinate quarterly safety meetings and administer the company's driver safety incentive program. Partner with Operations, Human Resources, and Recruiting to ensure successful onboarding and safety training for new drivers. Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices while promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation safety, DOT compliance, or logistics coordination. Strong working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, CSA, DOT compliance, and OSHA standards. Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs), camera monitoring systems, and transportation compliance software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities with the confidence to coach, mentor, and influence others.
