Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Second Shift) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety & Compliance Coordinator to oversee and maintain our facility's safety standards. In this role, you will be the frontline defender of our safety culture—conducting regular audits, ensuring emergency equipment readiness, managing critical compliance documentation, and fostering open communication regarding workplace hazards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, observant, and passionate about maintaining a secure, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Conduct monthly inspections of eyewash stations and spill kits, ensuring all emergency equipment is fully functional, stocked, and unobstructed.
PIV Logistical Oversight:
Manage and refresh sign-out documentation and inspection forms for pallet jacks and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) to ensure accurate logging and total audit readiness.
Administrative Maintenance:
Oversee the preparation, replenishment, and organization of essential facility forms, including Gemba walk logs and cleaning station documentation.
Leadership & Communication Safety Meetings:
Facilitate periodic safety committee meetings to discuss hazard identification, review incident reports, and collaborate on process improvements.
Culture Advocate:
Serve as a reliable point of contact for frontline employees regarding daily safety practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a safety, compliance, or quality assurance role within a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment (Preferred).
Knowledge:
Familiarity with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA), Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) regulations, and emergency equipment protocols.
Attributes:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
Communication:
Ability to confidently lead meetings, collaborate across departments, and maintain clear, accurate documentation. #IND000
