Job Description

The Sheetz Internz Program is scheduled to take place from May to August 2027.
OVERVIEW
Assist the Safety Department in fostering a positive culture while managing the comprehensive motor carrier safety and security program in accordance with company policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to the safe transportation of petroleum and food products and the service utility fleet (CMV).
RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties may be assigned) Assignment of various projects related to FMCSA Regulations, OSHA regulations, compliance assistance Update various training programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Must be a student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a minimum entering sophomore year Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Transportation/Logistics preferred Experience Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner; ability to be flexible with shifting priorities. Proficient computer skills, particularly in the use of Outlook, Word, Microsoft Excel. Licenses/Certifications None required Tools & Equipment General office equipment
