Type:

part-time G&S Foods is seeking a Part-Time EHS Intern to support our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives. This is an on-site, 3-month term position with flexible hours scheduled between regular office hours. The position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while supporting various EHS programs and projects. Responsibilities Draft and update machine-specific Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Document equipment energy sources, isolation points, and shutdown procedures. Review, organize, and formalize policies within the company Safety Guide. Draft and update safety policies, procedures, forms, and training materials. Participate in workplace safety walk-throughs to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Track identified hazards and corrective actions through completion. Maintain safety records, equipment inventories, labels, and photographs. Support safety inspections and other EHS projects as assigned. Minimum Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong writing, research, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications Familiarity with OSHA regulations, manufacturing operations, or Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) principles preferred. Ability to work independently and effectively in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects or assignments. Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and management. Paid Internship
