Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to champion workplace safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental audits to identify risks and ensure compliance with hazardous materials regulations and environmental management systems. Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent recurrence of workplace accidents or environmental violations. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and environmental regulatory compliance. Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental management systems. Prior experience conducting hazard assessments, root cause analysis, incident investigations, and report writing. Certifications such as First Aid (CPR), OSHA training certifications, or related safety credentials are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training & development sessions on safety topics.
