Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across various settings. Implement and adhere to cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface maintenance. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies or furniture while following safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of floors through specialized floor cleaning techniques suitable for different surfaces. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and sanitation standards. Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary, including outdoor cleaning tasks. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and carpet cleaning methods. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
