Commercial Electrical Construction Job Type:

Full-Time Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications and certifications.

Work Location:

On-site Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and field-oriented Safety Coordinator to support our commercial electrical construction projects. The Safety Coordinator will work closely with project teams to promote safe work practices, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and foster a positive safety culture. Responsibilities Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits. Monitor compliance with

OSHA, NFPA

70E, and company safety policies. Facilitate new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training. Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task planning activities. Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries and track corrective actions.

Verify proper use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices . Maintain safety records, training documentation, and inspection reports. Partner with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to address safety concerns. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience; electrical construction experience preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards . Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Required Certifications OSHA 30-Hour Construction Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Preferred Qualifications Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.

CHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA

500, or similar safety certifications. Knowledge of NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, and energized electrical work practices. Physical Requirements Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods. Ability to climb ladders and navigate uneven terrain. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
