Job Summary The Senior Safety Administrator is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and administering the company's health, safety, and environmental programs. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, including MSHA, OSHA, and environmental standards, while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The Senior Safety Administrator plays a key role in maintaining records, coordinating training, tracking compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Administer and oversee safety compliance programs, policies, and procedures
Maintain and manage all HSE documentation, including training records, certifications, incident reports, and compliance logs
Coordinate and track required safety training (MSHA, OSHA, refresher trainings, etc.)
Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Track and report key HSE metrics (incident reporting, training completion, safety observations)
Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
Coordinate safety meetings, communications, and company-wide safety initiatives
Monitor DOT regulations and ensure compliance in all states
Monitor the company's Samsara account to ensure there are no harsh driving/environment events
Prepare and submit required safety reports, logs, and regulatory filings
Work with operations, HR, and management to address safety risks and corrective actions
Travel to all locations for trainings and related activities Qualifications
7-10+ years' experience in an HSE or safety administrative role (specialty construction and utilities industry preferred)
Strong working knowledge of
OSHA/MSHA
regulations
Experience managing safety documentation, audits, and training programs
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
Compensation and Benefits Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year (salary depending on experience)
