Job Description

Job description: Smith Fire Systems, Inc (SFS) is a growing company that services Fire and Life Safety Systems. SFS is the one-call solution for the design, installation and service of fire alarm, fire sprinkler and suppression systems, backflow assemblies, security systems and extinguishers. Our continued success has produced a need for an Office Administrator. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and have great attention to detail. This candidate must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills when dealing with our customers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and fellow colleagues. The candidate will be required to: Present a professional image of Smith Fire Systems at all times. Process all renewals, updates, RFP requests, and audits. Perform and execute customer contract renewals as assigned. Create estimates for new inspections as assigned. Prepare and execute quotes for service and deficiencies. Review scheduled jobs and QC for work completed. Compare information from work orders to the contracts to ensure accuracy. Process vendor invoices. Process awarded contracts and purchase orders. Prep work orders for billing. Confirming all information is available to close out and invoice. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Candidate must have:
Experience in the fire and life safety industry Strong Telephone Skills Problem-Solving Aptitude Great Attention to Detail Adeptness to Multitask Ability to Work in Stressful Situations and a
Fast-Paced Environment Excellent Microsoft Office Skills Employment Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a DMV background check. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
