Position Summary The Environmental Health & Safety Technician II is responsible for supporting the administration of all occupational safety, environmental compliance, and industrial hygiene activities throughout the shipyard. This position will support EHS programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and maritime industry standards. This role will also assist with training and incident prevention and work to identify opportunities to reduce workplace hazards and improve EHS performance. Domestic travel may be required. Essential Functions Conduct daily safety inspections, job hazard analyses, investigate incidents and verify corrective actions Provide EHS training including emergency response, fire prevention, and hazardous materials management Support compliance through hazardous waste inspections, spill prevention, water and environment samples Support
OSHA, EPA, DEP, USCG, NAVSEA
inspections and requirements through audits and recordkeeping Other duties and overtime as assigned
