Englewood, CO Job Details Full-time $150,000 - $190,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Computer operation Team leadership DoD experience Trade compliance Information & network security team management TS/SCI with Polygraph Regulatory compliance analysis Legal compliance Intelligence community Senior leadership Full Job Description The Director of Security serves as the executive advisor to Radix leadership on all security matters, regulatory compliance, risk management, and national security obligations. This role establishes, implements, and oversees the company's enterprise security strategy across all security disciplines. The Director holds primary corporate responsibility for maintaining Radix's Facility Clearance (FCL), SCIF and SAPF/CA accreditations, ITAR registration, policy documents, and security compliance. This person leads the Radix Security program, directly supervises security personnel, provides oversight and strategic direction for the corporate cybersecurity program, manages and oversees execution of guard support contracts, and acts as the primary liaison to government oversight authorities and Industry Partners on security-related matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Executive Leadership & Enterprise Governance Strategic Advisory:
Serve as the primary security advisor to executive leadership, providing risk assessments, strategic recommendations, and policy updates regarding national security directives and corporate risk
Statutory Appointments:
Serve as Radix's Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO); ensure continuous compliance with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), SEADs, ICDs, and other government regulations
Facility Security & Emergency Response:
Lead the security component of the corporate emergency response team; establish protocols to safeguard personnel, facilities, and classified/sensitive assets during emergency events
Proposals & Program Execution:
Author compliant Security Volumes for proposal efforts, prepare labor/cost Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for security infrastructure, and evaluate contract security requirements (DD 254s)
Departmental Leadership & Multi-Discipline Security Operations Industrial Security & FCL Maintenance:
Oversee Radix's Facility Security Clearance (FCL) execution in full compliance with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117); serve as the primary interface with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and IC Customer Security teams
Program Security Management:
Directly manage, mentor, and oversee internal Security Department personnel, including Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSOs), and Industrial Security Specialists. Implement protection strategy across classified federal contracts; ensure CPSOs effectively execute Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs), process access requests, manage DD 254s, and author proposal security volumes Personnel Security (PERSEC): Oversee enterprise clearance maintenance and processing, continuous vetting, initial and refresher security education, and indoctrinations/debriefings Physical Security & Accreditations (PHYSEC): Maintain executive oversight of
SCIF/SAPF/CA
accreditations (ICD 705), Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), physical lock and key control, and secure facility maintenance integrations
Cybersecurity Management & Compliance:
Supervise the Cybersecurity Manager, providing leadership and guidance to support security operations, mitigate risk, enforce robust control frameworks, and align cybersecurity strategy with regulatory requirements and organizational goals Operations Security (OPSEC): Establish and enforce corporate OPSEC policy; partner with program leadership to identify Critical Program Information (CPI), execute OPSEC threat assessments, and foster an enterprise-wide OPSEC culture Insider Threat Program (ITPSO): Design, execute, and chair the corporate Insider Threat Program Working Group; manage employee awareness education, threat mitigation strategies, and mandatory government reporting
Information Security & Classification Management:
Serve as corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME) for classification management, document portion marking, CUI protection, and pre-publication review screenings. Mange Cyber Security staff to meet compliance obligations for secure and unclass assets supporting both corporate and customer networks
Investigations & Incident Response:
Lead internal investigations into security violations, compromises, or adverse information; manage mandatory government notifications and corrective action plans
Guard Force Management:
Oversee contracted guard force operations; manage vendor performance and contracts, enforce Performance Work Statements (PWS), write and approve Guard Post Orders, and ensure continuous compliance
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of comprehensive industrial security experience supporting DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) programs, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory or departmental management role Deep operational knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICD 705, ITAR/Export Control, CUI directives, and other government security regulations Exceptional executive writing, briefing, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to communicate risk to company executives and government representatives
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ Years of Facilities Security, with experience in managing security related matters for an ICD 704 secure facility.
Security Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
