We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Security Manager to oversee the security operations of a private school campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong military law enforcement, and Security background , along with proven supervisory or management experience. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage security personnel, scheduling, daily operations, administrative responsibilities, and security coverage for school activities and student athletic trips and away events . The Security Manager will serve as a key point of contact between the security team, school administration, staff, students, parents, and outside vendors, while maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.

- Saturday & Sunday _______________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the school's security personnel and daily security operations.
Develop and maintain security staff schedules, including coverage for special events, athletic activities, and away trips. Coordinate security coverage for school-sponsored travel, athletic trips, and off-campus events . Supervise and provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to security officers. Ensure security officers are properly trained, prepared, and following established post orders and school procedures. Conduct regular inspections of the campus and security posts. Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns. Maintain accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, schedules, personnel records, and other administrative documentation. Work closely with school administration to identify security concerns and develop appropriate solutions. Assist with emergency preparedness, crisis response, and safety procedures. Maintain professional communication with students, faculty, staff, parents, visitors, and vendors. Assist with access control, visitor management, parking, special events, and campus activities. Monitor security equipment and report maintenance or operational concerns. Ensure compliance with company and school policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Participate in meetings with school administration and provide updates regarding security operations. Be available to assist with security needs throughout the year-round school calendar , including summer programs and special events. Qualifications Military Law Enforcement. Previous supervisory or management experience required. Experience supervising security officers or law enforcement personnel preferred. Strong scheduling and workforce-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong administrative and organizational abilities. Professional customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies or stressful situations. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, faculty, administrators, and security personnel. Must be comfortable working in a school environment and interacting professionally with minors. Ability to work evenings, weekends, special events, and occasional overnight/away trips when required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Security license/certifications as required by state law.
Requirements:
Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions Must have at least two years of armed security experience Must be well groomed with a professional appearance Must have a strong command of the English language Must have a valid Class D and Class G Security License Must have your own firearm, 3 magazines and a retention holster. Equipment is subject to inspection, prior to being assigned to a post.
