We are seeking reliable and flexible Part-Time Rover Security Officers to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who can step in quickly to cover shifts, filling in for call-offs or as needed across various locations. Position Summary As a Rover Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our clients' facilities by covering shifts on an on-call basis. Your primary responsibilities will include flexible response to scheduling needs, conducting regular patrols to detect and deter any security threats or unauthorized activities, quickly responding to security concerns, and providing a continual visible security presence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to the following: Respond to call-offs and fill-in at various locations as needed, occassionally on short notice. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to prevent and detect any suspicious activity or security breaches. Monitor surveillance systems and promptly report any irregularities. Provide a visible and reassuring security presence to deter potential incidents. Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a professional and efficient manner. Assist customers and staff with security-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Enforce policies and regulations to maintain order and safety. Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports as required. Safely travel to various sites, ensuring a reliable presence wherever you are needed. Weather Exposure Consistent Report Writing Prolonged Sitting or Standing Walking, Kneeling, Bending, and Reaching Alertness and Attention to Detail Communication and Customer Service Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in security is a plus). Proven experience in security, preferably in a flexible, on-call capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. Familiarity with security equipment and technology. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
