Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points by verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established procedures, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or conflict situations Write detailed incident reports to document security events accurately and clearly for future reference Operate security equipment such as access control systems, Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and firearms where permitted by law Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary to secure or move equipment or materials safely Engage in conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes professionally while ensuring safety for all parties involved Qualifications Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control mechanisms Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency response procedures Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings Strong understanding of compliance with security regulations and legal standards governing firearm handling and Taser use Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure Physical fitness capable of performing patrols, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks as required Embark on a rewarding career where your proactive approach keeps people safe while you develop valuable skills in security operations.
