Tunnell Companies, LP, a leading Real Estate Management company based in Long Neck, Delaware, specializes in the development, construction, and maintenance of multiple resort and full-time residential communities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Night Shift Security Officer to ensure a safe and friendly environment for all residents, guests, and personnel. Join our team and contribute to the security and well-being of our vibrant communities. Shifts are from 9 pm - 7 am or 11 pm - 7 am. We have both Full-time and Part-time positions available. Responsibilities Patrol property to secure premises and personnel, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points, and permit entry Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures to prevent losses and damage Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises Adhere to all company service and operating standards Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and residents Protect the company's assets relative to theft, fire, and other safety issues Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations Establish and enhance relationships with residents and guests, promoting Baywood Greens and Pot-Nets Communities Interact professionally and effectively with residents and guests in a respectful manner, even when they are unruly Assist other departments and personnel with security issues when needed Complete Work Orders and log street light outages, notify on-call maintenance employees of emergency situations Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver's license Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Good communication skills, both oral and written Self-motivated and able to work well with others Basic computer skills Physical ability to stand, walk, drive for long periods, and carry a 50-pound weight a distance of 50 feet, as well as open, close, and secure large gates and doors Ability to work in various weather conditions Experience and License Requirements Driver's license Security (optional)
