- Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our security team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities or breaches of security. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports. Participate in conflict management and resolution strategies to ensure a peaceful environment. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures. Qualifications Valid armed security guard license or certificate is required. Class D & Class G License Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred. Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is advantageous. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must pass background checks and comply with all legal requirements for armed security personnel.
