PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and armed post protocols. Assist with access control, visitor management, and the documentation of incidents, observations, and security-related activities. Help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence, professional communication, and timely reporting to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals. At least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
