Position Summary As a Weekend Security Officer at Bay Point Community Association, you play a vital role in keeping our residents, visitors, and property safe. You will patrol community grounds, monitor access, handle emergency responses, and provide top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities Patrol & Surveillance:
Conduct routine patrols of residential areas and common facilities; monitor surveillance systems for suspicious activity.
Access Control:
Verify authorized entry, manage guest sign-ins, and issue parking permits.
Emergency Response:
Act quickly during alarms or incidents, contacting law enforcement/emergency services when needed, and reporting details to leadership.
Rule Enforcement:
Fairly and diplomatically enforce community guidelines.
Customer Service:
Serve as a helpful, approachable point of contact for residents and guests.
Reporting:
Maintain detailed daily logs and write clear incident reports. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License (Required). Class D Security License or ability to obtain one prior to start. Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays required). Background in security, military, or law enforcement preferred. Strong communication, basic computer skills, and a calm composure under pressure. Licenses or Certificates Must possess a valid Driver's License.
