Job Summary:

Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? River City Security & Investigations is currently seeking skilled unarmed security officers for Port Sulphur, LA.

Responsibilities include:

Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity

Qualifications:

1 year of security experience is preferred.
Must have reliable transportation and a working phone.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus
Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Understanding of loss prevention techniques and practices
Ability to stand or walk for long periods
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
