Gateway Regional School District is seeking a 2nd Shift Security Monitor Gateway Regional School

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma Required College degree, certification, and prior security experience preferred.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitors the entrances to the Gateway Regional School complex. Greets and welcomes all arriving visitors, ensuring that entry protocols are communicated clearly, firmly, and kindly. Ensures that all visitors properly sign in upon entering and sign out prior to leaving the complex. Directs all visitors to appropriate locations within the complex. Monitors parking lot for appropriate activities. Records properly all required data with respect to building visits. Reports problems associated with building security and/or visitations to designated administrators and law enforcement officials, as necessary. Reports any problems with behavior or activities to designated administrators. Ensures all entrances are appropriately secured Gateway Regional School Complex and at Littleville Elementary School. Accepts deliveries and communicates to recipients about mail and packages received. Supports school administrators with requests related to student location and reviews security tapes as requested to provide appropriate administrators video footage that is needed. Completes other duties, coverage, and assignments as designated by the Superintendent or his/her designee.

SALARY:

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22.00 per hour. The hours for this position are 12:45 pm - 8:00 pm during the School Year.
