Unarmed Security Officer Location:
Auburn, Maine Schedule:
Fri, Sat, Sun | 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking qualified Unarmed Security Officers to support operations at our Auburn, Maine facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through access control, patrols, monitoring systems, and emergency response activities. Key Responsibilities Access control for employees, contractors, and visitors Access badge creation, management, and troubleshooting using the CCURE system Conduct random bag checks in accordance with site policies Perform trailer inspections for security and safety compliance Monitor and manage security camera systems Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility Perform alarm testing during patrols and document results Respond to active security or safety incidents, including emergency situations Accurately report and document all security, safety, and operational issues Conduct Hazmat audits and inspections as required Perform key audits and maintain key control records Manage incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with facility procedures Qualifications Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to follow established procedures and respond effectively in emergency situations Working knowledge of access control and surveillance systems preferred Ability to conduct patrols in both indoor and outdoor environments Preferred Certifications AED Certification (preferred) CPR Certification (preferred) Additional Information Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Position requires compliance with all safety, security, and company policies
