Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. Duties Monitor security cameras and conduct regular surveillance rounds to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors. Perform thorough background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security protocols. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or conflict situations. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security issues, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy. Conduct patrols of the premises to ensure physical security measures are intact and functioning properly. Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations and maintain a calm environment for all individuals on site. Experience Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance equipment, access control systems, and incident report writing is essential. Training in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety is preferred. Experience with manual handling and heavy lifting is beneficial for managing equipment or assisting during emergencies. Familiarity with security regulations, compliance standards, and performing background checks will support your success in this role. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes situations such as emergency responses or conflict resolution is important.
