As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol Driver in Castle Hayne, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a college campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
