As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity using computer or tablet systems, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant activity according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
