PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location. Monitor access points, verify credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity. Support compliance with site rules and access-control procedures while helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining professional communication with onsite personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
