SUMMARY:
The Armed Security Officerprovidesfirst response to emergencies,enforcesfederal law and assimilated state law,andconductsmobile patrols.
RESPONSABILITIES
Provide access control, trafficcontroland conduct walking and motorized armed security functions. Conduct personnel, vehicular,building, &facility checks and package & parcel inspections. Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or
Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer
•armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or
Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, or successful completion of a police officer's basic training academy.
