Per-Diem Shift 1 Job Description The Security Guard is the hub of activity, the source of information to patients and visitors and the first contact to community for requests and inquires. Must proactively seek to be helpful and to ensure any special needs have been met. Perform routine rounds and is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at Olean General Hospital properties (interior/exterior). Greets patients and visitors and assists them to their destination. Maintains and enforces parking assignments. Responds to Manpower and Security Assist codes as required. Performs other duties as requested. Education And Credentials High School graduate or equivalent. Must possess a current Security Guard Registration with the
New York Department of State, Division of Licensing Services:
Article 7A of The General Business Law. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required with annual refresher courses. BLS required Experience Must be able to take control during stressful situations.

$16.00 - $20.63 Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
