Job Description
OSS Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the Salem, OH area. OSS Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed and trained. Security experience helpful. Hospital environment. (1) 40 hrs 2nd shift 2p-10p (1) 40 hrs 3rd shift 10p-6a
Requirements:
- Eighteen years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work additional shifts as deemed necessary
- Must be punctual, responsible and reliable
- Willing to work overtime
- Capable of following directions
- Presentable, industrious, friendly and well mannered
- Pass employee drug test
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures.
- Pass background check
- Basic Computer Skills Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the safety and security of the site and visitors through regular rounding of the premises and monitoring of cameras
- Escorting employees and visitors to various sites on the premises when needed
- Responding to and assisting in emergency situations
- Completing incident reports when required
- Completing tasks as required by the client
- Signing visitors in and out of the facility
