As a Security Officer Full Time in Glenshaw, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including education. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will welcome students, staff, visitors, and families while maintaining a professional, approachable presence. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding communication and customer service. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at the front desk. Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate school offices or locations. Monitor access to the building, maintain visitor logs, and communicate visitor activity or concerns to designated school personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Answer phones, provide general information, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
