Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Johnson City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and document incidents, observations, and access-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Have customer service experience, preferred.

Have access control or badge experience, preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
