Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of designated areas using CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and physical security measures to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches promptly. Manage access control by verifying identities, performing background checks, and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond efficiently to emergency situations by executing emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols, AED operation, CPR, and first aid. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy. Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management to resolve disputes calmly while ensuring safety for all parties involved. Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents involving loss prevention or criminal activity. Conduct heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when necessary for security setups or emergency situations. Experience Proven experience in security roles with a strong understanding of physical security practices and law enforcement procedures. Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems is essential. Training or certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable. Experience performing background checks and conducting thorough security screenings is preferred. Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and loss prevention strategies will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Prior work involving conflict management, incident report writing, and law enforcement collaboration will be advantageous.
