Job Summary Reliance Security Services is seeking a vigilant, professional, and proactive Level 3 Armed Security Officer to provide safety and security at a gaming facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a secure environment by controlling access, conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong observational skills, sound judgment, excellent conflict resolution abilities, and a commitment to protecting people, property, and assets with professionalism and confidence. Key Responsibilities Monitor the premises and remain alert to identify and respond to potential security threats or suspicious activity. Control access points by verifying identification, authorizing entry, and maintaining visitor logs. Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to identify security risks, safety hazards, or policy violations. Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, alarms, and medical situations while following established emergency response procedures. Operate emergency equipment, including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and Taser devices, when authorized and necessary. Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports documenting accidents, security breaches, suspicious activity, and other significant events. Perform physical security duties, including standing for extended periods, walking long distances, climbing stairs, and lifting or moving equipment when required. Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Enforce company policies and gaming facility regulations while providing exceptional customer service. Work collaboratively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and facility management when necessary. Qualifications Valid Level 3 Armed Security License (required). Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, military, or related security roles preferred. Knowledge of firearm safety, defensive tactics, Taser deployment, and emergency response procedures. Strong observational, communication, and decision-making skills. Excellent report writing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies. Professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and strong customer service skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
